Gender Identity Warfare

In December 2013, Russia / Kremlin / Putin had a "State of the Nation" speech in which Putin announced that gender topics would be the central thrust of attacking "the West".

The Kremlin leader's full-throated defense of Russia's "traditional values" and his derision of the West's "genderless and infertile" liberalism in his annual state-of-the-nation address last week was just the latest example of Putin attempting to place himself at the vanguard of a new "Conservative International."

This Facebook posting of mine on December 30, 2011 - I was already aware of this possibility of this emerging conflict and doing research on the history and cross-culture learning of the world via James Joyce's Finnegans Wake - and Joseph Campbell's teachings about Finnegans Wake. 

FYI: Joseph Campbell died in 1987, I am not sure exactly when this quote was created, as it was published in a collection book "The Hero's Journey Joseph Campbell on His Life and Work" in 2003.
